ADHD Social Skills Group

Structured. Evidence-Based. Built for Kids Who Struggle Socially.

If your child has ADHD and struggles socially, it’s not because they don’t care. It’s because social skills don’t come naturally for ADHD brains — they need to be taught, practiced, and coached in real time. That’s exactly what this group is designed to do.

This Is NOT a Playgroup

This is a structured, skill-building social skills group led by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We don’t hope skills show up. We teach them, practice them, and reinforce them.

This Group Is a Good Fit If Your Child:

• Interrupts, blurts, or talks over peers

• Struggles to join or stay in groups

• Gets upset when things don’t go their way

• Knows the “right thing” but can’t do it in the moment

• Loses friends despite wanting them

• Has ADHD

This group focuses on skill development, not punishment or labels.

What Makes This Group Different

• Led by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst

• Based on evidence-based practices

• Small groups

• One core social skill targeted per cycle

• Real-time coaching (not free play)

• Structured activities and games

• Reinforcement built in

• Clear parent communication and carryover

Most social skills groups rely on discussion.

Kids with ADHD need practice.

How the Group Works

• Reinforcement and immediate feedback

• Planned generalization to real-life settings

Skills are:

  1. Explicitly taught

  2. Modeled

  4. Coached in the moment
